Soup bone or beef stew meat or both
Several whole cloves
1 rutabaga
6-8 potatoes
Salt and pepper or peppercorns
Cover soup bone and or stew meat with water and cloves. Cook for awhile and add rutabaga and later potatoes and cook all until done. Salt and pepper to taste. Remove cloves. Put rutabaga and potatoes in bowl and mash. The juice can be used as gravy
