Ordinance 204.02: Council appointee.  One member may be a council member or the clerk to be appointed by the mayor with council approval, for a one-year term to expire on December 31 of each year.

Ordinance 204.02: Council appointee(s).  Up to two members may be council members  or the clerk to be appointed by the mayor with council approval, for a one-year term to expire on December 31 of each year. 

 

LMC clarification. 

If the ordinance does not have to do with Zoning, and if it is merely a clarification or word change that does not change the basic structure of the law, the ordinance may be changed by making an amendment ordinance, which may be introduced and adopted at the same meeting (just a regular meeting, no public hearing required).   This must be published following the meeting and will take effect 30 days after publication.
